Great sensory experiences await you and your child in this special event designed for children with sensory processing disorder and general development delay as well as their families. Lights and sounds will be dimmed to create a comfortable environment for your little ones to explore. Participate in sensory based activities, developed by an occupational therapist, to improve their ability to process and regulate sensory information. Watch a sensory-friendly stage performance, engage in calming movement groups and meet community professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and ABA therapists.
To receive a social story booklet, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call (305) 373-5437 ext. 126. The Museum opens to the public at 11:00 am.
